CAIDP brings together world-leading experts in the governance and regulation of AI

CAIDP Conversation with David E. Sanger:

AI, China, and Global Power

February 24, 2022

10.00 EST / 16.00 CET

Artificial Intelligence is now central to all sectors of the digital economy. The US and China seek preeminence in this technology. While both countries would favor peace and stability, there are challenges ahead. Is it possible for the US and China to reach agreement to reduce the risk of cyber conflict? Should the US and democratic allies oppose AI-based mass surveillance techniques that threaten fundamental rights? What role do international policy frameworks, such as the OECD AI Principles and the recently adopted UNESCO Recommendation on AI Ethics, play in US-China relations?

Join tech policy advisor Len Kennedy and David Sanger, one of the world's leading experts on cyber security, for this informative CAIDP Conversation
